We knew that olives were essential to Greece and especially Peloponnese, and we always loved olives a lot. So we decided to visit Dimitra for the Kids Tour to ensure that we all would have a great experience. And we had! It was a fantastic experience - and Dimitra went all out and made the day very special. We started with a bit of history by the olive trees, went to the kitchen for Greek coffee and cooked local food. Both kids and adults were part of the cooking class. We also had an olive oil tasting. While the chef prepared the rest, we went to the museum in the same building (an old school). Afterwards, we had delicious food and wine. After lunch, we had the chance to talk a bit more. Both with Dimitra but also the other lovely family that participated. This is an experience we will never forget and recommend to anyone. Dimitra and her TheOliveRoutes is the best!

We booked the 3 hour experience with tour of castle, olive oil mill and olive oil tasting on our way between Olympia and Kardamyli. If you are in the area this is a must do, and would also make a great day trip if you are 1-2 hours away. Dimitra is an energetic, intelligent, knowledgeable local guide. Easy to find the meeting point. The included lunch was lovely and filling! A highlight of our travels in Greece. We have been travelling for months and this was the best organized experience/tour of our trip, Dimitra is absolutely amazing and welcoming.

It is a must visit place, since Dimitra is such a lovely warm host, and took us through her family business and the process of how Olives and Olive oil comes into being such an important aspect of every Greek ! I would say the heart & Soul of Greece. Olive Routes is perfect for families, we went with our daughter to the Olive Mill and Dimitra was so interactive, involved her in the entire tour and the tasting session. Oh and not to miss the beautiful fresh food with the dash of their produce ! Brilliant ! We'll be coming back to you Dimitra !

The local winery had some of the best we’ve tasted and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. For the olive oil tasting, Dimitra provided such a unique opportunity to learn from a professional. We had an incredible lunch - truly delicious fresh food. It was a perfect end to the tour. If you are looking for a fun and genuinely special trip, I absolutely recommend it. Thank you!! :)

The food was delicious and freshly made just for us. We learned so much today, we really enjoyed savoring all the different oils. We got to taste many different fruits and vegetables for her beautiful garden in the mountains. We even received special gifts at the end of the tour. This was the best private tour we ever experience in our life. We highly recommend to anyone, young and old!

She helped us understand the local history & importance of timely processing to produce a high quality product. She was friendly, passionate and energetic! The taste testing & meal was fabulous! We would highly recommend this tour and taking in the breathtaking views of the olive groves.
