Nice place in a very nice square. Prices relatively high but still reasonable.

Great food, excellent service! The fava beans with chorizo, tuna fillet and the meat were really tasty! We really enjoyed everything. Thanks and we will visit again for sure.

The food was amazing and service was super friendly and fast. We had a grilled tuna steak and the lamb. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared. We got a free dessert on the house comprising a melon-raki and homemade chocolate. The prices were way below what we have seen so far.

Very conscientious wait staff and great food. I ordered the sea bass which was great. My somewhat elderly father, who sometimes has a very limited palate, didn't like the lamb dish that he chose - the server noticed this immediately and insisted on bringing something that he would like, which I thought was extremely commendable. My dad ordered the chicken instead which he then really enjoyed. Above and beyond for service and the food was quite tasty yet different, while still respectful to, than the traditional Cretan cuisine. Highly recommend.

I find this review difficult to write, because even if the restaurant is situated in a good place in Splantzia, and the food was looking good on the plates, I didn´t enjoy the food as much as I expected. We ate lunch at Platanos, and my husband who is from Peru, ordered a Tuna tartare, dreaming of something close to a Ceviche, and was very disappointed. I gave it a try as well, and I respect the try for something with a raw fish, but it didn´t stand out in any way. We were two who ate the diced grilled chicken which was better than the Tuna tartare. It looked wonderful, but something was missing. Maybe a little Garam masala would have spiced it up a little more? Maybe ginger? Maybe use spring onion on the Tuna instead of leek? The bread was really good, and the yoghurt cream very good as well. The wine was fine and the service was good. I liked the herbs in the wheelbarrow. I have to say that my experience was as a total 3,5 stars, almost 4.

This restaurant is delightful in the location, service and food. I would describe it as Chanian Asian fusion as some dishes were more Asian than Greek such as the octopus carpaccio which was just okay. We actually preferred the food flavors that stuck to its Greek roots such as the shrimp orzo pasta and we were so full after lamb and potatoes plus fish dish. Even though the menu had some hints of Asian fusion, you’ll still see quite a lot of local Greeks dining here. The nice bonus was the mango chocolate dessert with the watermelon Raki digestif. Service was friendly and checked in the perfect amount without being overbearing. I highly recommend this place.
