★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a frequent tourist to Greece and Athens I was brought here by friends. They have a great feeling for awesome restaurants and so far I never went with them to any which was not breathtaking. And so The President is.
It is located in the Center part of Kalamaki and close to the beach. Easy to reach and something happening around you so you feel the spirit of the big city but still in a very comfortable environment.
The waiter and the staff are super friendly and polite. Always there but never intrusive. Also when it comes to food allergies they are excellent.
The food is so tasty and really great - however it has an Arabic touch. And this makes it so special.
I will get back there soon when back in Athens.
Recommended to go there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food atmosphere and service at a reasonable price. The president is a chain of greek grill and kebab restaurants. Visited with my girlfriend and we had a very pleasurable dinner. Good for groups, families and couples. If you are alone and you don't want to sit alone you can have something to take with you or you can order home delivery.
For two people it cost 19€ per person including drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. Waiters were on hand at all times. Very tasty food , wide selection of appetizers and main courses. Traditional Greek tavern and traditional Greek food with a retro twist to the concept inside the restaurant. I loved the old Greek coffee styled decoration at the entrance and the vegetable stand as well outside the tavern. Very cozy atmosphere and excellent dishes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on recommendation and we were not disappointed. A group of five of us split the Greek salad and tzatziki for an appetizer, following up with the Presidential meal for lunch. We had more than enough food for all of us to enjoy, and all of the skewers and meats we received we delicious. My personal favorite were the kebab kasseli (i think that was the name, the ones with cheese!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our hotel is close to this taverna and we crave for some gyro. This is the best food we tasted. Staff are reliable and attentive. The Xoriatiki has 2 big slices of feta and large portion of cucumber and freshly cut big tomatoes, great for a sunny day. If you are close to Kalamakiou beach, i recommend you try it out.
