The Royal Grand Hotel - Kanoni

Location was superb with views at the airport runway and the sea. Room was clean but small and toilet basin water was constantly off which was very uncomfortable. All inclusive was a total waste of money, food was not tasty at all, cutlery was not refilled constantly, wine was warm, and the variety was very very limited. This was the biggest miss of all, we had to eat at restaurants during the most of our stay.

Really nice hotel and very friendly staff! The room we had at first was very smelly but the staff was able to resolve that issue very quickly by providing us with another room. We had the airplanes starting and landing right outside but the noise was not to detracting and more a spectacle. The hotel breakfast was very good and the location only a 15min bus ride away. Bus ticket were 1.10€ one way if bought at the small mini market nearby, otherwise 1.70€. The hotel pool unfortuanly was closed the first day as of cloudy weather. It was open the second day but freezing cold as it is not heated.

Mine and my boyfriends first holiday abroad together and it was very disappointing. The shower was dirty and water got absolutely everywhere because there was no door on the shower, found hairs in the beds and the bed sheets were stained, dust virtually everywhere, the all inclusive was basically pointless, cocktails weren't made properly, the food was awful, very greasy and always cold, made me feel ill throughout my stay, on several occasions we got to the buffet and there wasn't very little left, even at the beginning of the service, the same food served everyday. There was no entertainment, only a pool- which was nice but very cold due to the time of year so not much to do. Staff in the restaurant area could be quite rude, took my plate from under me while I was still sitting and my boyfriend was still eating without asking if I was finished. Very limited drinks, only 2 small shops near by with essentials- we spent more in there on food than anything else as they had a better selection than the restaurant, the only reason I gave 2 stars is because the beds were comfy and the view was lovely, but will not be staying at this hotel again, disappointed isn't the word.

Amazing hotel and services. Hotel was clean and bar was well served. Girls on reception were very friendly and supportive. Being vegetarian, chef and staff were very nice & made scrumptious meal for us. My daughter had egg allergy which was taken care well by the chef and manager. Overall, nice experience and lovely 5 days stay at hotel ❤️?

Just got back from this lovely hotel. My first ever experience abroad. Pros: -Beautiful hotel -Lovely Staff and bartender -Our room was amazing, the bed was so comfy although the shower head was cracked/broken -Good view of planes from our room, noise wasn’t a problem for us -Hotel right next to the bus stop to town and beach nearby Cons: - No Entertainment (wouldn’t be good for families when the pool isn’t open) - Not a good range of food, most of the options are the same daily -Most of the food is cold when you get it such as fried eggs as it isn’t kept in heaters

We stayed at Grand Royal Hotel from 09/04 - 16/04. The staff were friendly and despite other reviews, we never experienced cold food, the dishes were often repetitive however, the meals were cooked perfectly every time. The room was lovely, the views even better. The pool was always clean and well taken care of and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The only part I did not enjoy about the stay was the horrible guests who treated staff terribly, complained about everything and took full advantage. My advice to the hotel is to check who is full board and who isn’t before serving so willingly. The cleaning staff should also ensure to replace the towels they take when cleaning. Overall, we will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a ‘value for money’ stay. Well done Grand Royal Hotel!

Decent hotel. It’s a standard enough hotel, the rooms are small but clean. The pool complex is across the road from the hotel. Not really for families. You need to go all-inclusive to make the most out of the bar, if you drink. The food isn’t great. The drinks aren’t amazing either. The bar woman at the pool was really lovely! Quick bus ride into town is €2. A taxi was €10 approx. The views are amazing! So close to the airport you can hear every plane. Makes for a good view though.

Just at the end of a 14 day holiday at the Royal Grand Hotel. We have had an amazing stay here. The rooms are so comfortable, we asked for a kettle and also a room facing the runway, both requests were given to us thank you . The food is fantastic, plenty of choice for all meals. The food is NOT cold but it is served at the correct temperature, thank you to the kitchen team for such wonderful food. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh clean towels in the bathroom, the lady who cleaned our room done an amazing job. We will definitely come back, thank you
