★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Φιλόλαος Τλούπας γεννήθηκε στη Λάρισα το 1934. Αφετηρία της καλλιτεχνικής του δημιουργίας υπήρξε ο μαραγκός πατέρας του και ο χαλκουργός παππούς του.
Το 1944 εισάγεται στη σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας και μαθητεύει δίπλα στο γλύπτη Μιχάλη Τόμπρο και Αθανάσιο Απάρτη. Το 1950 με υποτροφία σπουδάζει ση σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Παρισιού και το ατελιέ του γνωστού καλλιτέχνη Μαρσέλ Ζιμόν. Το 1956 δημιουργεί το πρώτο του γλυπτό από γύψο για την καφετέρια «La Reqence», ενώ την περίοδο 1951 – 1967 διδάσκει ο ίδιος γλυπτική στη σχολή του Κλερό, στα προάστια του Παρισιού, όπου και δημιουργεί τις λεγόμενες «γκογκότες», μικρά γλυπτά από πηλό, που αναπαριστάνουν τερατόμορφα παραμυθένια ζώα.

Filolaos Tloupas was born in Larissa in 1934. The starting point of his artistic creation was his father's carpenter and his bronze grandfather.
In 1944 he enters the Athens School of Fine Arts and studies next to the sculptor Michalis Tombros and Athanasios Apartis. In 1950, he graduated from Paris School of Fine Arts and the atelier of famous artist Marcel Zimon. In 1956 he created his first gypsum sculpture for the La Reqence cafe, while in the period 1951-1967 he teaches sculpture at Cleo's school in the suburbs of Paris where he creates the so-called "gogotis", small clay sculptures , representing monstrous fairy-tales.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situé à l'extrémité de la ville, le parc offre de magnifiques vues sur le golfe, la ville et les plages. Les sculptures sont comme des ovnis dans ce théâtre arborés que constitue le parc. On pourra regretter le manque d'entretien des lieux, mais ils ont leur poésie avec ces sculptures presque énigmatiques.
Located at the end of the city, the park offers magnificent views of the gulf, the city and the beaches. The sculptures are like UFOs in this wooded theater that constitutes the park. We may regret the lack of maintenance of places, but they have their poetry with these almost enigmatic sculptures.
