 The bronze statue of Liberty is the work of the sculptor Georgios Kastriotis and was donated to the new city of Zakynthos, the post-earthquake one, in July 1974 by Mrs. Agni Kyros in memory of her husband Alexandros Kyros and the benefactress of Zakynthos and official Zakynthos A.
