★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solomos square is the biggest and most popular square in the island of Zakinthos. It’s the place to see and be seen, never crowded due to its size but always busy and lively. Frequented by families, teenagers, old-timers and adults of any age, it’s a lovely stroll early on summer evenings, while you’re on your way to a nearby restaurant.
Lots of historical buildings around the square for your to see and visit too.
Avoid visiting in the day as there’s no shadow at all - this square is much more charming at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very big square at the end of the town or is it the beginning? Almost totally empty except for a few tourists taking photos and the pigeons. Nice place very clean, old church opposite the sea front is open but not sure about photos inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lively square, great in the evenings. For families with kids, make sure to check out the kids car rental - €5 for 20 mins of amazing fun. We went there every evening for a fun end to the evening. The kids car rental is on the street to the left of the museum - amazing people.
