★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit especially if you are into biblical history. One of the few places that still has Goes name. Definitely must visit place of you visit Thesssaloniki. Just a note that there is a local guide present at the venue only on some of the afternoons mid week so it's worth visiting then, it is worth as she can explain as lot about the history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This old Synagogue besides a river has a long (2000yr) history and bears an ancient blessing which even I could feel.
It's not in use, but it surely is a very beautiful and spiritual loaded place. I would surely recommend a visit if not for the experience then for the story.
