★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent effort to renovate, revitalize and repurpose the traditional Jewish quarter of Veria. Unfortunately without its legitimate inhabitants as most of them perished in the Nazi extermination camps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barbuta is perhaps the city's most beautiful and cozy area to visit.
The Synagogue asks for a small amount to pay for people to enter, I think they should do it for free (its interior is far from being as interesting as the one in Thessaloniki to visit afterall).
Veria is a very unterestimated city and I think that authorities should consider doing some serious contacts with their fellow city of Thessaloniki
