★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely stay in this cottage in the old village of Benitses. Very tidy and clean, nicely decorated and lovely seating area inside and outside where you can relax after a day out in Corfu town or a day on the beach. The cottage is within walking distance of the beach and the best tavernas of Benitses, also a bakery and mini market very close by to pick up some fresh bread and milk or a cold beer. There is also the Argo pool bar very close by which I didn’t try but have heard great things about, pool area looked lovely when I walked past it. Easy drive to beautiful Corfu town, and regular direct bus connection from the bus stop by the village square. I very much enjoyed walking through the village with all the trees and plants in full bloom, whilst saying hello to the locals who are ever so friendly. Highly recommended for a superb stay in a traditional Greek village!
