The location was beautiful. Unfortunately, this is the only thing we really enjoyed; everything else was… interesting. There were many seats with a front row view of the sunset but these were “reserved”; later, these tables were offered to those who demanded them, no reservation required. The service is not up to par with the “fancy” image they portray. The food sounded good by the description, but the flavor combinations were all very odd. We had the octopus pea purée which was consisted of cold, bland, chickpea purée with room temp to luke warm components of sour octopus gravy. The Thea salad was a twist on the standard Greek salad, which they managed to execute. The dessert was also an odd take on creme brûlée which took a lot to chew. I agree with another reviewer, they need a new chef. Underwhelming, except for the view. I would not recommend eating there. The piano bar up the road had a similar view, better service, and the drinks were fantastic (though we didn’t eat there).

Excellent food, actually the best we had in Alonissos. Amazing view and service as well. Totally recommended!

Amazing view and very good food - a hidden jewel! (July 2020) 1 year later we have been there again and food is still very good and the view is - of course - breathtaking. Unfortunately the service staff made the impression that they are not really willing to give their guests a good time. Tables haven't been cleaned for about 45 minutes after the guests left and looking at half full plates and messy tables is not really appetizing. The waiter would have had enough time to clean that, but it looked like that he preferred to watch his smartphone. Not really appropriate for a place that wants to be something special.

Excellent food, place and atmosphere! The culinary choices you have in your disposal are a a combination of Greek traditional dishes and ingredients created with a modern approach. You will also find a great variety of wines to go along your food. All in all a great experience you should feel when in Alonnisos. Highly recommended!

Mediocre food, but extraordinary view. We had a Greek starter which was ok. Then a risotto and a pasta. Both tasted...ok. But I’ll seriously make a better risotto at home. For dessert we shared a Greek walnut cake which was pretty good. But overall there is room for a lot of improvement regarding the food. Staff was nice.

Incredible sunset. Good food. good service. Worth a try. I recommend. The lamb was a little dry but everything else is great. Especially appetizers. TOP.

So, I do not know with what I should start: First, the food plating looked great, but unfortunately that’s all that your get. Regarding the appetizer dishes tried by us: -the fish eggs salad from the greek appetizers is so salty that you do not feel anything else after, and the feta cheese dip leaves at the end just an acidic taste, -the meatballs had no taste at all and, even more, the tomato sauce had a sour taste, - the caramelized octopus with pea puree is not even peas is lentil / chickpea because it was yellow not green, and the entire taste was only just from the balsamic vinegar, great for a future stomach pain.. Secondly, about the main dish: - I want to start by saying that I never ever had eaten in Greece a moussaka without taste! Never!! It would have been wonderful to have had at least a nutmeg taste - the burger with feta and the chicken fillet with black rice were just salty , - the pork fillet was just flat food. At the end, after so much bad food (and after 1h and a half , trust me, you’ll be eating it! ), I also ended up with a foot pain from the heat released by the terrace stones, but this is another story. The single positive thing: the mojito nonalcoholic drink was very tasty , so you have one single chance to feel great, drinking that, and enjoying the sunset view. In conclusion: my opinion is that the people come here only for the sunset view, which, honestly, is indeed beautiful and the location is perfect for that, so, my advice is that to focus on serving excellent cocktails and, simultaneously, to take cooking classes, or, just to hire a group of grandmothers from the village, so that they make simple tasty things.
