Best Lodging in Greece

n	nsaratsis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone working at Theano guesthouse was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely superb and was served to us in a lovely garden area. Although we could only stay one night on Hydra, we wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay at Theano guesthouse again when on Hydra. If you have a big or heavy suitcase, suggest you arrange for a donkey to carry it as it's about a 5 min walk on cobbled stones and quite a few steps from the port. Overall though, I would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
O	Ovidiu Moscaliuc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a large clean room, they offer daily cleaning. Also you can decide to take breakfast in the inside garden for 5 euro, which varies from a day to another. The only inconvenience is that you have to climb 237 stairs to reach the location from the port. This might be difficult when you arrive/leave and you have luggage, otherwise the stairs are not so high. There is the option to take a donkey from the port to carry you/your luggage. This is a location with a very good price considering what it offers and what are the other prices on the island. I would really recommend you to stay here.
K	Kat Flowers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved it here. Great price compared to others on the island. Yes, it’s a walk to get to, but worth it. Check in was easy, rooms are large and clean. Bathrooms have all you need and the outdoor area is absolutely lovely. Very close to beaches and yet secluded so there’s no noise issues. Would stay here again

C	Christinaki Chr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By the minute we entered in the room there was a cockroach ?? there was no hot water? the faucet stopped working the second day ❗ the curtain rod fell off while i was having my cold shower ⚠️ we went twice to the reception to talk to the receptionist but there was noone in the front..trying calling but there was no line . One of the worst experiences ever !
m	magdalini theochari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful staff! Clean, roomy and tasteful rooms, a lovely backyard, all in an excellent location, not far from the port but quiet! Overall a very good choice!
F	Frederiek Simons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for 2 nights last summer and we experienced some very bad service. Our stay was okay, even though a bit noisy. When we were about to leave however, we were told in a rather unfriendly way that because our booking had been last-minute, the money from Booking.com hadn't arrived yet. So, we were commanded to pay the full sum again. We gave in because we were reassured to receive the money back after they would receive it from Booking. The following weeks, we didn't hear anything. Many many different phone calls later, to Theano guesthouse and Booking.com, we finally received our second payment back. No excuses, no initiative from Theano guesthouse. Just a very bored staff member that we only got to speak to if we were "lucky" enough to call at the right time. Yeah, we will probably not go back there.
E	Evita on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 2 nights. The room had nothing to do with the pictures. The tv wasn’t working and the air condition made a lot of noise. The shower didn’t have a door. You could hear everything happening to the other rooms, whenever someone took a shower or had a conversation. The guy at the reception was very nice and helpful, but the service in general wasn’t (not from the receptionist’s side ofc). Breakfast wasn’t available, even though it was advertised a lot in the pictures. The location was the worst thing of all. It was a 15 minute uphill walk with stairs from the port. It was advertised as a guesthouse 800m distance from the port. Not even close. I wouldn’t recommend.
