Booked a twin room, got a double, so had to sleep on the floor for the first night. They then put a camp bed into the room for the rest of my stay, which twanged every time I moved. Bathroom was mouldy and hideous. Shower was a tap half way up the wall, and didn't work. There were bat droppings on the balcony, and we had to ask the cleaners to clean it up, and they were actually reluctant, saying it was good luck!! They then proceeded to hang our towels out to dry there every day, so we came back to towels covered in bat droppings. Air conditioning is an extra 5 euros every day. Breakfast was processed cheese and ham, with orange squash and Nescafé, bits of bread and jam. If you wanted a cooked breakfast, or something more substantial, this was 8 euro extra. If you eat out of the hotel, Theo, the hotel owner accosts you at the reception and tries to guilt trip you into eating in the hotel. The hotel restaurant prices are pretty much double that of the local restaurants, and other guests said it was poor. Given breakfast, I refused to eat there. The bar is more expensive than the local bars, roughly the times the cost. Room was small with very old furniture. Much more than a ten minute walk to the beach. The hotel was the worst I've ever stopped in, and their response was "it's cheap". Well it's not once you add the extras in. Oh and no drinks facilities, irons, phones, etc in the room. Awful

Small hotel quiet and very friendly. Theo/Owner and all his staff go out of their way to help in anyway they can. Beautiful views you dont get tired of. The food is gorgeous I don't bother eating anywhere else. I've been 4 times, you will always come back as lots of others already do.

We all loved our stay at Theo's hotel. The hotel is set within beautiful surroundings and the staff are the most helpful I have ever known. Nothing was too much trouble, all of the staff are passionate about the local area and are happy to share their knowledge. We went in the middle of the summer holidays and it was still not crowded, there were plenty of spare sun loungers by the pool and lots of space on the beach. The pool is set behind the hotel which is much nicer then some at the front of the hotel for everyone to see. There is a small hut at the pool where a wonderful lady Litza serves hot and cold food as well as drinks. Nothing is too much trouble ad she is fantastic with the children. At front of house you have Theo who greets you like a member of the family and then Edina who was like the sister I always wanted. Even the teenage girl who helps at breakfast is lovely. We ate in the restaurant almost every night and everything we tried was delicious. I would recommend this hotel for families, couples and singles looking for a peaceful getaway. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas with water sports on the beach and the James Bond café in the local village (where For your eyes only was filmed). I am already looking at re booking for next year.

Excellent location, view, pool and evening meals. The rooms were adequate but very clean. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Theo and staff!

Theo and his staff are amazing. The hotel is a little walk from the beach but worth it. All the guests i have spoken to are repeat guests, sometimes for many years. Its our sixth visit coming up. Basic hotel rooms, excellent restaurant in its own right, lovely elevated pool. Most of all, the warmth and friendliness of Theo and his staff is the real attraction. Fondas, Billy and Alex great people. We will just keep on going !

A lovely spot for a family hotel. Very welcoming and nicely appointed. The food was very well prepared, and after our visit to Albania Theo kept the kitchen open so that those of us who had gone could have an evening meal. A lovely holiday in a lovely bay and just enough distance out of town for it to be thoroughly relaxing, even in August.

A fabulous time here, amazing staff/service. Felt like part of the family. As a single female traveller, this was beyond expectations. And a beautiful setting. I will be returning

Standard Greece, dated rooms but clean and tidy. Clean linen, clean bathrooms, beautiful view from the balcony. Theo and the team are lovely, can't do enough for you. Beer's nice, food's amazing. Pool is clean and lovely, proper sun spot. Lisa at the pool bar is a mine of information.
