Έμπροσθεν της προτομής αναγράφεται: "Ο Θεός υπέγραψε την ελευθερία της Ελλάδος και δεν παίρνει την υπογραφή του πίσω. Δυστυχώς η υπογραφή από τον Τήνιο γλύπτη Γιάννη Καγιώργη που βρίσκεται στη βάση της προτομής έχει επισκιαστεί από το πλήθος των ανάγλυφων ονομάτων, των τιμητών του Θεόδωρου Κολοκοτρώνη.
