★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surely not a place I'd like to stay for long. Many beggars of questionable nature may approach you while you wait for your bus so be aware of your surroundings as they may be dangerous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and well maintained station. Personal is great, they speak good english, there are labels everywhere, most of the city transport ends here but due to road traffic don't wait till the laat minute to get there :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bus terminal is surprisingly not as good as the ones we've seen in Athens or Trikala. The place smelled of urine and there were counterfeit goods being sold at the shops in the bus station. The only saving grace was the very helpful lady at the information desk who guided us as to how to get to the city centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A large bus station that serves almost anywhere in Greece and even abroad. There is nothing worse than citys where there are a bunch of different bus stations or privately owned making it awkward to know where to go. It is well laid out in Greek and English main organising a journey pretty easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The airport bus departs roughly every half hour, Google maps will give you the exact schedule. The ticket can be bought both at the ticket booth as well as on the bus via the vending machines, however these last accept only exact change. The cost for the bus trip to the airport is 1.80€ and it takes a little more than an hour. NOTE: The ticket needs to be validated with the orange machine on the bus. The terminal has clean free toilets.
