★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicate, tasty - yet very healthy food. Really enjoyed my quinoa salad at lunch. Good selection of local Greek wines. Staff very nice, especially as we were clients of the hotel. Great view and interesting architecture. Breakfast in the morning is awesome, a Must taste. The bread basket is delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location and gorgeous food! Bring a cardigan/hair tie because it can get windy, although they kindly provide blankets. Walkway gets busy at sunset with guests/non guests posing for pictures. But overall an incredible view and wonderful service. Pricey menu so something for special occasions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you are celebrating a special event (we went for our honeymoon). The servers made us feel so special and were so nice. The sunset here is one of the best on the island and the atmosphere is amazing (live music). The beef is the best dish I had all trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I came here on our honeymoon. This was our first night in Santorini and we were incredibly excited to dine at Throubi, seeing as we had just came from 4 nights in Mykonos after 2 nights in Athens, during which every single dinner had been spectacular, all at different establishments.
When we arrived at Throubi in time to enjoy our first coveted Santorini sunset, we were sat at a table in the corner of the patio that should not have existed in the first place. While we could tell that some tables had a wonderful view of the Caldera, we were stuck next to the concrete wall which completely obstructed our view. We had to get up from our table and walk off the premises to be able enjoy the view without awkwardly lurking over other tables. I initially didn't let this put a damper on the mood, as I was still very excited about our meal. However, when the sommelier arrived at the table, things continued to spiral.
We were offered a glass of champagne to start. We initially obliged, as we are accustomed to high end restaurants giving a complimentary glass of sparking wine to patrons upon arriving (as was the case at multiple other restaurants in Greece as well as in our home country). However, we were quickly informed that these were 28 euros each. At this point we said nevermind and asked to just see the wine menu before committing to any drinks. The wine menu was extensive, but had been marked up beyond belief. I am used to overpaying for wine at restaurants, but the cheapest bottles available were 76 euros, and most of the selection was far pricier. We went with a 76 Euro bottle of wine that retails for 15 euros or less. Absolutely insulting. After our subpar wine arrived, we were finally brought a menu, at which point we learned they had a tasting menu that had a wine pairing option for a mere 20 euros more than our exorbitantalty priced swill. If we had known this was an option, we would not have bothered with a bottle. This was awful execution, though at this point I'm confident that the pairing would have been equally disappointing, so I digress.
Upon looking over the menu we noticed all of the starters were in the 40 euro range, while the fishes and meats started there and got far pricier. This would be acceptable, IF the food was anything special. But NONE OF IT WAS. Our 40+ euro octopus was not even a full tentacle. It was 3 bite sized pieces with little flavor and a tough texture. My 40+ euro lamb had a piece of bone that had not been removed--not by design (this was a lamb filet that was pre sliced, not a rack of lamb or a shank). The flavor was bland, it could have been frozen for all I know. My wife's 38 euro chicken breast was similarly unspectacular. Neither of these dishes came with anything special as a side, only garnishes. We felt as if we were eating In a caricature of a high end restaurant where you pay insane amounts of money for a splash of drizzle across a single bite of food all in the name of trendiness.
At this point we had decided there was no way we would even consider dessert, but that we would instead raid our hotel room minibar, as it was assuredly of better value and quality. Of course, we were never even asked if we wanted dessert which we found utterly bizarre.
I want to end by saying that I LOVE nice restaurants. I am accustomed to paying for expensive food, and have been doing so our entire honeymoon, during which time we have enjoyed some of the best meals or our lives. In fact we paid more than twice as much at a restaurant in Athens that we felt was more than worth it. The difference is, they executed well enough for us to actually order the degustation menu along with the wine pairing, along with additional desserts and drinks. We felt this was 100% worth it, while Throubi was nowhere close. I have never been more disappointed in a dining experience than I was at Throubi. I cannot underscore how much I recommend other travelers avoid this place like the plague. I can only hope that the rest of our dining experiences in Santorini are nothing like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here twice for lunch and once for dinner and would strongly recommend both. It’s attached to a high end hotel with amazing architecture and wonderful views. The lunch menu gives good value for the quality of the surroundings - €20 for very, very good salads. Have the nectarine with ponzu sauce. The dinner menu is fine dining and delicious, with excellent service. The best thing about the food here is how nutritionally balanced it is. The chef has clearly given a lot of thought on how to showcase Greek cuisine in a healthy way. They have a vegetarian, gluten free and vegan menu and were very thoughtful in making adjustments to meet our dietary requirements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in Throubi Restaurant in July, we really enjoyed the food and the whole experience there! Also the atmosphere there was amazing! The restaurant has very nice view of the sunset and you can enjoy your meal during the sunset time. The sommelier girl "Xenia" and the the boy waiter "Giannis" were really amazing guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High expectations turned out a big disappointment. My partner and I had lunch at Throubi and I must say I was quite dissatisfied with the food. We had an octopus as a starter and it was very gluey and mushy - instead of firm. It was unseasoned and sauce that came with it was very sugary-sweet - we were quite shocked since it was supposed to be a health-oriented restaurant. Felt like a random addition to the dish.
For our main course - it looked better than the started but it was extremely bland, unseasoned and tasteless.
Greek salad had tasteless tomatoes and ‘carob croutons’ that was just dried bread that was the same kind as was offered in a bread basket. I did not have any olive oil in the salad. I had 3 olives in total inside it and two and a half scoops of cheese. My partner had chicken breast that was completely tasteless and unseasoned as well.
The place and the view was beautiful but the price did not reflect the quality. I did not mind the price it is the quality that did not catch up with the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a very nice restaurant with a stunning view to the sea and the city. For starters I recommend the wild mushroom couscous as it was really delicious. The scallops for the starters were okay. As for the mains I recommend going for the lamb dish. Ours was cooked medium to perfection and the combination with the pea sauce and broth was amazing. We’ve also had the pistachio linguine which was cooked al dente and tasted good. The service was outstanding and waiting times were very reasonable. I’d recommend going to this place either during the day or during sunset so that you can appreciate the amazing view
