Best Mediterranean restaurant in Greece

C	CK O on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can one say that a restaurant is the best in a town if they haven't eaten at every restaurant in the town? Well... I say yes you can!!! This restaurant was hands down the best we went to whilst in Chania. Firstly, Zoran (who I assume is the owner) was ever so friendly and attentive to our needs. And as for the food... WOW!!! We had the lamb antikristo, which is lamb grilled over a fire. This was one of the tastiest lamb dishes we'd ever had (and we've eaten alot of lamb in life!) We also had the slow cooked goat, which was sooo tender and flavourful! I can't recommend this place enough. Evidently we liked it so much that we went back again 2 nights later.

Just melted in your mouth … yummy !! Also highly recommend the homemade pastries, lemonade, aubergine and many more !! Kids enjoyed the play area while we the adults enjoyed raki and local wines ;-) Will definitely be back for more !!
l	luislukas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent traditional Greek restaurant. Products served only from Crete producers which is really great to support local farmers. The star dish is Antikristo which is a way to cook the meat around flames. Don't miss it if is the first time you go. Besides that there's other delicious plates of food like sausages, home made cheese pie etc. A must if you are around Chania area. The restaurant is kid friendly as well with a play area on the side so don't let your kids put you off. Be aware though that there's no specific parking so plan a Taxi or try to find a spot nearby - it wasn't difficult to find one.

Food is very fresh and good quality. Chef is also the owner of this place which tells a lot... My husband and I were very pleased with this experience ?

We got the antikristo slow roasted lamb and pork. The assortment of pies were delicious - 4 different fillings. Being the nosy eaters we are, we got a close up of how he only uses olive wood for the fire and learned about local plants and sustainable cooking. Plus two small bottles of Raki and yummy dessert makes everything delightful. Wonderful evening!

A bit out of the way of things, but totally worth it for something authentic and actually locally produced. Recommended to us by a local. Picture of the amazing chocolatey sweet yogurt we got at the end of the meal.
