Really great place. Located 5 minute drive from Chania old town with a decent view of the mountains. The villa is huge and the owners are very friendly, helpful and have some great advice about some little gems on the island. Great for families too (own transport is a must)

A home with incredible attention to detail. The owners have obviously put their heart and soul into this build. Every extra we could think of was there. The kids loved the good quality internet and the amazing pool. The water was so clean, it was like swimming in refreshingly warm bottled water. In one sentence “This is the best holiday home we have ever been in”

A True Luxury Villa. We visit Crete annually for our summer vacation , this year we spent 21 days at Villa Nikis and we couldn't have picked a better place. The location of the villa is in Perivolia which is nice suburb located just an 8 minute drive from Chania and The Old Venetian Port making the location ideal. the famous Agia Marina beaches are only 10 minutes away as well as many other great beaches. The villa has easy access via the main city roads which makes it easy to get to as well as being only a few km from the main highway. There are many supermarkets, cafe's and restaurants nearby some within walking distance. One of the best restaurants we have eaten at called To Antikristo is a 2 min walk from the villa. The food and service at this restaurant was remarkable run by a family that takes a lot of pride in what they serve their customers. The villa itself was the best villa we have ever stayed at in all the years we have visited Crete. The house itself is much larger than the pictures indicate, we were a family of 6 including 2 teenagers and there was more than enough room for the whole family to have their own space. The bedrooms were huge with massive walk in closets in each room providing ample space to unpack all your clothing. The washrooms were a good size everything you would need. The kitchen was large with every appliance you would need and stocked with any thing you would need to cook a meal for the family. The dining room was large enough to host a party for 20 people (mind you we never ate inside but it was there if needed). The separate mini apartment area was perfect for our teenagers they had their own bed, kitchen, washroom and living room which gave them the privacy they needed and kept the noise from them talking and laughing all night long out of the main part of the house. The mini apartment is accessible via the staircase in the kitchen(not visible in the pictures) which keeps the whole family connected. However the best feature of the house is the outdoor living area, the pool had to be one of the biggest we have had at a villa we had 15 people in there at times with room to spare. The water was always perfectly maintained by the owner and perfect temperature even without taking advantage of the heater option provided by the owner which is the first time we have seen that in Greece. The patio space was massive you could easily have a outdoor gathering of 40-50 people in this space it was perfect for outdoor dining and just relaxing by the pool. The sun loungers were a good size and extremely comfortable. Our little ones loved going into the garden to pick fresh fruits every day there were bananas, oranges, plus, lemons, grapefruit, limes and other fruits growing in a little oasis just across the driveway. The driveway is gated for security and also has a 3 car covered car port which was great at keeping the car out of the sun. They even provided 3 bikes with helmets for use if you wanted to take a bike ride around the town or pick up yourself a coffee from the café nearby which made the best cold coffees and puff pastries in Crete, if you go to Me Piazza Café I highly recommend trying the Trigona Thessaloniki they are amazing but highly addictive we had them daily. However the best part of the whole villa was the owner Lambrini she was amazing helping with any request we had and available to respond to any question within minutes of messaging or calling her she made the stay at Villa Nikis extra special she felt like family by the end of the trip. I know this review was long but to be honest it wasn't long enough to really explain how amazing this villa and owner were, no words could do it justice and this we will be our new go to villa for Crete annually from now on.
