★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Koumpes very much , I have been visiting this restaurant for over 4 years now every time I come to chania , they have a wide range of options to choose from for lunch and dinner
I love their daily menu that has lots of fresh cooked greek and Cretan dishes that are all cooked with fresh ingredients...
The BBQ and the quality of lamb and chicken and beef they use in their Grills are super wow , best quality and always fresh , I love the Arni and kotopolo piadakia a lot
All their salads are huge and fresh , and even if you want a souvlaki they have one of the best in town
Portions are always huge and it’s very nice to chose some appetizers or salads to share in the middle if your visiting as a group ..
And finally prices are so much affordable if not the best in town
As for the service is always 10\10 all the guys working there are hard workers, polite and smiling , I can’t unfortunately remember a name , but they are all super good
Don’t think twice before going to Koumpes ,for an original very affordable fresh and very higher quality Cretan dishes in a good atmosphere ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and professional staff, lightning fast service. Clean enough place, considering the fact it's located next to a high traffic crossroad.
Excellent whole grilled chicken, very nice gyros but not all the times we visited. Skewered pork not the best that could be, but the chicken skewers are quite good. Grilled meat is very good most of the times. Keep improving you guys! We'll keep coming!

Our server was so sweet he even brought us an extra dessert, as usual rakia on the house. Can’t wait to come back!

I can recommend you to order any kontosouvli. The grilled meat is crispy on the outside but tender in the inside. They definitely mastered their craft!
