★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στο εσωτερικό του οικισμού της κορησσίας και στο δρόμο προς την Ιουλίδα , συναντά κανείς το εγκαταλελειμμένο ΕΡΓΟΣΤΆΣΙΟ ΕΜΑΓΕ , του οποίου η καμινάδα - ύψους άνω των 45 μ. διακρίνεται ήδη από το πλοίο καθώς μπαίνεις στο λιμάνι .Το εργοστάσιο λειτούργησε από το 1927 έως και το 1957 , υπήρξε πρωτότυπη για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα βιομηχανία παραγωγής εσμαλτωμένων σκευών και το μεγαλύτερο τής Μεσογείου , που απασχόλησε εκατοντάδες εργάτες ντόπιους αλλά και πρόσφυγες και αποτέλεσε πηγή ευημερίας για την οικονομική και κοινωνική ζωή του τόπου . Το 1991 κρίθηκε από το τμήμα νεωτέρων μνημείων διατηρητέο ενώ πολλά από τα μηχανήματα του έχουν συντηρηθεί και είδη εκτίθενται.
