A very warm welcome here, only paused for a coffee, which was excellent, came with a small biscuit. Bought two jars of the local honey, so much flavour. Should you be passing, stop for refreshments.

Want a great food, and such good people. They serve what they have at that moment, for us that was lamb and moussaka. Great spices, really tender meat, it was an awesome meal. They use local products to prepare their dishes, and you really can taste it. Afterwards we got some of the great local liquor. They also have a little shop where you can buy some of the local products!

The place is nice, the staff is friendly, starters were good. The main course was average and the price was crazy! You don't know the prices in advance and in the end you pay more than in the restaurant in the center of Athens. I suggest to avoid this place.

TOTAL SCAM. AVOID GOING THERE. Not the tavern you would expect in such a little village. The owner was extremely pompous and talkative, finding his way to overcharge all dishes. The food quality was average. We could not check on the prices as they deliberately avoided bringing the menu, while the receipt is obviously not part of the business. When we confronted the owner, he meticulously blamed it on the service.. Fun fact, he is the priest of the village and the owner of numerous local businesses. Guess how he managed building his little empire.. We all feel exploited.

Really bad quality of food and exaturated prices, selling industrial orange juice for 5€ per glass pretending it is freshly squeezed. Greek salad 8€ with a micro piece of feta and untatsty olives. Unbelievable for Greece! Do not go there!

Yes, it's expensive. I didn't feel too ripped off because the food was very good. I understand other people's criticisms and the owner does seem to expect to get away with the prices because he's charming. Location is great.

Excellent food in a tiny village. Friendly reception. As many have mentioned, no menu, just serving what is locally available with no prices quoted. Small plates, and, as mentioned by several people, quite pricey for a small, remote village. Yes, more like Athens prices--which given that the food is advertised as all very local, is odd but maybe not surprising in this location. (I only hope the local producers are also getting well compensated). As for the food, all but one of the five different mezes we tried were well-prepared and extremely tasty. Presentation was quite chic, with drizzles of balsamic reduction, or sprinkles of paprika. Would recommend the owners use a chalk board so that they can post what they have each day (in Greek and in English), along with prices. This allows them to keep up to the minute, but also avoid the shock people have with the prices. Lagia is also lovely, with stunning views of the sea just beyond the church across from the restaurant.
