★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here around 530 as they opened. The pizza oven was flaming but not quite ready so we had to wait a bit as they got it together. We had walked 20 minutes and waiting for half an hour for the pizza oven to come online was a risky choice...
It paid off. The pizza (I got the Cretan) was delicious, great base and flavourful fresh topping. My wife got Penne Arrabiatta and it was also delicious. Well priced too. With drinks we paid 18 euros for one of the better meals we've had in Greece. Friendly staff put up with our screaming kid too.
The view across the beach was not bad either. A good choice if you're staying a night in Nafpaktos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xilofournaki is the best choice for any taste, the restaurant offers appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, wood fired oven pizza, filets with different sauces, snacks and a ton of dishes traditionally prepared in the wood fired oven as well as homemade cooked dishes, seafood and a menu for the fasting periods. The ingredients are fresh and carefully chosen. The service personal is experienced and polite. You will not regret trying!
