Our best choices : feta baked in the oven, omelette with potatoes, greek salad with crispy bread.
Hard to reach that village but you will get memories for cheap

We hiked the E4, from Orono to Thripti, seeing the signs for the Taverna along the dirt track and couldn’t believe our luck when we found it open. The village is at 850m fed by springs it is lush and green with many vineyards but most of the houses are abandoned; all the more astonishing to find this open, welcoming and bustling. altitude. The wine is made by the restaurant, drink the red, made with local liatiko grapes.
