★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite pie franchise. This one is the only 24/7 Tzante along with the one in Acharnes at Filadelfias street. Their speciality is yellow cheese pie (Kaseropita) which is bigger than the average pie of other similar shops and peinirli. Despite being the classic one with cheese and bacon, its pastry is really delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our boys loved their chicken and bacon pie. The place is on a corner and convenient. You order on the sidewalk- no tables. Pies are baked fresh. Open 24hrs it seems. Great for post drinking munchies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were fortunate enough to have serendipitously booked accommodation a few metres away from this bakery. It was our first taste of Athens after touching down and we were just blown away by how delicious, fresh, and fluffy the bread was. We've since tried the same breads and pastries at numerous other Greek bakeries and nobody comes close to Tzante. If you're in Athens, you really need to come down to Koukaki neighbourhood and stop by Anastasiou Zinni!
