Close to the Beach, and the staff treats you like family. Great food and service. The pool is great and well cleaned. Nice big rooms. Will totally visit again

This is a very nice hotel, they have very nice rooms and the staff is super nice and welcoming, they even take the time to learn your names and you learn theirs. The appartment that we lived in was big and nice, and it had a great outdoor seating area that we used all the time. The staff is super nice, they talk to you and learn your names, i am even Facebook friends with multiple og them. The food at the restaurant is very good, it is nothing to write home about, but is enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is walking distance from the square in platanias and the bus stop to Chania is also very close by. I can very much recomend this hotel it is great.

Really nice hotel, clean rooms and really friendly staff, we stayed in the ground floor apartment which was very spacious. Free air conditioning. Pool area is generally quiet and the hotel overlooks the beach, where there are free sunbeds and staff serving drinks from the bar. A great place to spend your holidays. Plenty of great beach side tavernas within walking distance and there are a couple of shops nearby for food.

We travelled as a family of six with children and my parents and received a warm welcome on arrival. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, always smiling and treated us as part of their family. If there was anything we needed, nothing ever was a problem including organising for us a taxi or sending us photos of the room ahead of our stay to assure us we have chosen the right accommodation. The room we have received was very spacious, had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. Beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our family time, just steps away from the pool that was warm and big enough for my 9 &12 years old children to spend whole days playing in it. Plenty of sunbeds available both around the pool and on the beach ? which you could see from the terrace/ balcony. The hotel is literally on the beach with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and you can order a drink directly from there ? The beach was lovely, it was sandy with an easy access to the sea and a little pier. We were swimming there every day. Walking along the sea, I could tell it was the best beach in the area. The hotel has a restaurant/ bar on the beach. The food is absolutely delicious, staff super friendly, boss Kostas makes the evenings truly Greek playing on his grandad’s bouzouki. Stunning views and the best sunsets (possibly) in the whole Crete are a bonus! The location was great for a little shopping and travelling around West Crete as well as relaxing on the beach. Airport is only 30 minutes drive away but we haven’t heard a single plane. Felt very relaxing and safe. We travelled during COVID-19 but felt very safe at all times and the place (both the hotel and the town) felt safe, clean and not overcrowded. Beautiful setting. Beachside beds very comfy. Dining area is stunning. Food is delicious. Staff are extremely kind and generous.

If you spend time in Agia Marina the Troulakis beach (bar) is an absolute must! Not only very good food, but also great people (Costa & the Troulakis family) who always have a warm welcome for you!! And we've been here for 28 years ...!!!!
