Best Restaurant in Greece

L	Lazaros Koutsas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in Mersini, a village above Livadi beach. Very nice balcony endless view to Amorgos. A nice and neat menu, with local recipes and products. Try revithada (chickpeas in oven) and burger. Very quick and friendly service. I recommend to all who visit Donousa.

Picture it, just climbed a mountain to eat at a restaurant only to be asked mid meal “how much longer do you plan on enjoying yourselves?” Not the first taste of poison from the woman server, during ordering we were told to hurry up because she is busy. My friend was refused water because he could not pay cash. We were ushered to leave to make room for other unsuspecting poor guests, I only hope they were not verbally assaulted by the staff the way we were.

S	Stephan Engl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view, friendly host and awesome food. Try their signature beetroot salad and the burger. Yummy! The seasonal dishes are usually great, too. This year they have Mamos beer, which is as close to Bavarian lager beer as you can get in Greece. You can take the bus from town or walk to Mersini. When visiting Donousa, definetly drop by at TziTzi.
H	How to Grow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Original and organic food! Flavours are upraised from the scenic view of Amorgos and a deep blue sea. The treat was also 5 stars.
V	Vassilis T. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy small restaurant with spectacular view! Located in Mersini village app 10 min drive from Donousa village and then few meters walking. The best we tried was baby goat, cooked excellently and highly recommended

Donousa island has lots of great and classy restaurants and quite frankly I didn't visit all of them. That being said, you have to go to TziTzi. Why? 1. View. You get the best view in the world. Amorgos island in your TV screen. It doesn't get any better than this. Take a look at my photos and you'll get a rough idea. 2. Cuisine. Lamb, rooster with pasta, tiropita and ntakos salad, everything hand made with local raw material. All of them amazing, esp. tiropita! 3. Positioning. Most likely you'll get there if you visit Livadi beach and climb up the hill (25'-30'). Most likely you will want some food to get your energy levels up. You get the point.
P	Philippa Tickner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolute delight, it was the highlight of my trip to Greece. I hiked up from Livadi beach and was welcomed with great spirit and great food. I enjoyed the lentils and feta. Not to mention the view! My goodness what a place and what wonderful people.
