★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the taverna Mitsos due to the high ranking and the publicity they have.
We were there on the 21st of September around 14:00 to get our lunch and we were surprised that the tavern was almost full! We have requested for the plate of the day but was finished so we decided to order the "famous biftekia" burgers just to see why are so popular.
The outcome for us is that this specific plate is overestimated and we didn't find something magic in it except it's price.
Although we were generally satisfied from the food and the Greek salad, we definitely didn't find any specific reason to visit them again. We had excellent food at the Donusa port, so we see no reason to visit Kalotaritisa just for the Mitsos taverna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, and only tavern in Kalotaritissa. Standard Greek food, good salad and Saganaki, limited offer (normal, so remote), friendly though a bit distant service. Paper tabkecloth with plastic, hopefully they separate the plastic before it ends in the landfill, otherwise it stays in the nature forever and becomes microplastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of best places to eat in Donousa. Located by the beautiful Kalotaritissa beach with awesome view. Few honest and homemade dishes. Try fresh fish, which is cleaned with seawater before grilled !
