Very welcoming owners/staff. Picked up at the port and transported to the apartments. Given an upgrade from a one bedroom studio to a two bedroomed with a good terrace overlooking the pool. The rooms and bathrooms are basic, could do with some refurbishment but clean and spacious. The pool was lovely!

I remember the first that I was there! Mrs and Ms Vanas, make our stay - DREAMY ! thank you ! 10 times after I have to say one thing BEST STAY EVER!!!

Very nice and clean place. The hosts were very helpful and polite and provided free transportation from and to the port (city centre) whenever we needed it during the day. Highly recommended!

A run of the mill, no thrills, standard class old apartment. The service was amazing, we were extremely satisfied with the people who worked at Vanas. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is a bit far from the main port and it's all the way uphill but the owners gave us a ride on their van the first time we arrived. The pool is very clean. The rooms though are a bit outdated. There is poor soundproofing so if you are a light sleeper, forget sleeping. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from the next room, the shutters and Windows have never been upgraded so if you're sitting next to the pool, it will feel like the drunkards sitting by the pool bar at 01:00 am, are sitting in your room. The frames still have the original single glass they came with in the 1980s and wooden frames which do not shut completely. The bathrooms are clean but again, outdated and old. The kitchenette is basic if you decide to use it but we didn't test it ourselves.. If you get a cheap deal on the hotel it's alright I guess for a couple of nights but if i had booked this for a 2 week stay, i would have regretted it.
