★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up here coincidentally on our first day in Athens before embarking for several islands in the Aegean. We sure did make that same stop on our way back a week later. Could not have made better use of the time between ferry and airport. Come here if you want to get in touch with the locals dining in this rusty side street of Athens’ central market. You’ll receive recommendations on the best beaches around Naxos, hear about the favourite island they went to as kids, will be forced to try the dish they just ordered just to know if you want to order it, too. just as you will be forced to make them figure out where you’re from so they will be able to pull out the few words they remember in your native language. Ridiculously kind people, staff and guests alike. Fantastic food. 500ml Rosé for 2,50€. Welcome to Athens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A traditional small tavern, with a few pre-cooked lovely dishes. There is no gourmet dishes here, however this is a great value for money place to enjoy a fast meal with some wine or beer. Prices are really cheap. Stuff is super friendly and smiley. Worth to give it a try.

Food is good but not cooked at the moment you order it so some of the fried goods (eg keftedakia & kolokithokeftedes) are not the hit of this place. Prices are super low, so it is really value for money. Worth a visit!
