★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food by Maganari beach. Many traditional Greek dish choices including fresh food. Enjoy your meal under the bamboo roof while hearing the sea waves. Clean bathrooms and plently of parking but no place to wash off the sand. Internet does not reach the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented beach chairs and umbrellas from Venus. They had a few people in and out throughout the day, but in early July, we were glad to arrive around lunchtime, as chairs weren’t available mid-afternoon. I believe it was 6 Euro for two chairs and an umbrella. We loved the water, which was shallow and warm for quite some distance. We could see Santorini across the water. There was changing stalls and bathrooms on the beach, as well as at the restaurant. We ate lunch at the restaurant which was fantastic! We enjoyed that their menu had more variety than other beachfront options we had experienced on Ios. They also honored a free Alfa coupon we had. Lastly, after a delicious lunch meal of mezedes, we had a chocolate bread cake that was delicious as their complimentary dessert. Would highly recommend!
