Venus beach bar - Κεντρική Παραλία

Me and my partner went there for drinks in the evening a couple of weeks ago. The service was very nice - our waiter was very friendly. The beachfront seating is also very romantic. We got some nice cocktails at a decent price. We also had the cheesiest pizza.

Very nice place to rest. Sunbeds next to the sea are more comfortable than with other bars. And price is also competitive. Should be free of charge if you spending €30+ but every business is a business.

Very nice sunbeds (7 euro for 2 and an umbrella). Excellent food and friendly staff. Definitely guaranteed for a nice day at the beach.

We went here 2 times, the first time we had something to drink, the waiter was arrogant and not hospitable. Our last night we went there to have diner, the shrimps my husband had weren’t properly cleaned, the intestines weren’t removed. When we ordered another drink the waitress asked if we could pay the bill allready, because her shift would end in a few minutes and so she would get her commisson ! At the same moment there was an arguement at the bar. A young lady, we thought she was the boss, was sitting at the bar with her back towards the customers, and agnoring customers. Not polite and disconsending. The arguement was with and against one of the waitresses. It looked like she was getting fired. The young girl started crying and got angry at the same time…the lady-boss (we think she was in her late twenties, or maby even younger) was speaking with a bad tone en her eyes looked like she could kill someone, very angry ! Then see stood up and ignored the young waitress who was still crying. 2 minutes later the girl left the beachbar. We sat there flabbergasted..we saw the whole thing. And it really ruined our night. A boss like that should have some proper education how to deal with his or her employees and keep things like that in private quarters! And also they gave us the feeling that they don’t treat the customers equally. Such a shame, a very nice beach, Tsilivi a nice small town, nice people everywhere, but not at the Venus Beach Bar.

Very nice beach bar that stands out in Zakynthos! I would definitely recommend due to the excellent service in combination with the very good prices and the location (right by the sea in a perfect sandy beach). Best place I have been in Zakynthos

Very nice beach bar. The sunbeds are very comfortable and the area is clean. We didn’t have a chance to try the food but the prices are quite affordable.

Great place for breakfast. They are open you just need to walk all the way to the beach (it looked closed when we arrived). Great choice of breakfast for very decent prices. Staff is nice. We had a lot of wasps when we were there coming for our Greek yoghurt with ?. The beach also looks nice although we did not stay there. Probably one of the best places open this time of year.
