I mean on the terrace with view the Library of Adrianos and the small neoclassic buildings of Plaka and behind you the Parthenon. Around seven o clock the sundown. You feel the spirit and the beauty around you. All languages of the world - music. Happiness. The personal is kind and helpful without being obsessive as in other places of Plaka. Please stay like this, don’t become more expensive, keep the simplicity of the Greek style. You are fantastic, „Veranda“.

Easy access by metro (Monastiraki station), nice outdoor seating at the pedestrian road with beautiful ancient ruins view. Very good coffee and tasty and fresh sweets (e.g. cheesecake), the service is good.

Tried the wrapped filo with spicy tomato jam- the feta was so mild and smooth, unlike so many briny fetas. The hummus was smooth and flavorful with lemon and Tahiti. The calamari with chips was so tender. Umbrellas covered patrons, sheltering from the hot sun.

Veranda is a great place with a family atmosphere, I am happy that I found it with my fiancée during our stay in Athens. We dined here almost every day for the whole week and when we visited two other places for a change, it ended in a disaster and a huge disappointment. We tried almost every item on the card. I can especially recommend the extremely creamy pastitsio with a brilliant taste, wonderfully seasoned arrayes, perfectly fried calamari, a meat board for two, where everyone will find something for themselves. They make great home fries. They serve great, refreshing house wine. The views and location are perfect. Friendly and smiling service. I don't know what more to ask for. A really great place.
D	Devin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent dining experience. Decided to stop for lunch after our tour at the acropolis. Not packed with tourists so it made the experience very peaceful. Service was great and very welcoming, the food was great as well. Highly recommend for anyone passing by.
