★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we only stayed for 1 night because of our itinery but this place is a small slice of paradise and when i say small i dont mean the room,its huge,very well equiped,very modern,lovely pool and great views...its about half a mile from the beach but we enjoy walking and being nosey anyway so it suited us perfectly...we will be back??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best self catering apartment I’ve been to. A large modern room with everything you need for basic cooking, comfortable beds with crisp cotton linen and a lovely wet room type shower. It’s situated by the side of a road but it’s very quiet and has sea views. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable with nothing too much trouble and the rooms are spotlessly clean.
Fonikouda is a low key resort with a pretty beach and others nearby and it’s a great place to visit Voidokilia Beach, Pylos, Nestor’s Palace and further afield the wonderful Olympic site.
Definitely recommended.
