Verina Astra Hotel - poulatis

Small, gorgeous resort, great service, many rooms have private varrandas. Lovely!!!

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at Verina Astra. The hotel is stunning and in such a beautiful setting. The infinity pool and ocean view needs to be seen to be beloved. It feels secluded but it’s only a 8 minute drive / 30 minute walk from Apollonia. The restaurant is fantastic - the quality of the food is exceptional. There are so many good things to say but most of all the staff are lovely and so helpful (without being intrusive) and professional. They gave great suggestions about what to do on the Island. Special thanks to Maria-Eleana who is just brilliant. I cannot recommend Verina Astra highly enough. I’d return in a heartbeat.

Perfection. Verina Astra is in a rugged location overlooking a cliff past a monastery where (when it’s not windy) you can go for a swim, and you have beautiful views of Kastro. We stayed here for a week and felt that the entire staff (reception, restaurant, chef, cleaning) were excellent. They are attentive to every detail, extremely efficient and above all kind. Everything is sparkling clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and you really feel like you’re in paradise. The breakfast is delicious and welcoming with amazing views from their large terrace. The swimming pool is also amazing - I just wish other guests would obey the need to shower before entering the pool - and has gorgeous views. It’s close to Artemonas (where we think the best restaurants and vibes are) and a short drive to Appolonia. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone (couples in particular) who want to find a romantic place to disconnect! Thank you to the entire Verina Astra team, you’re all lovely and you made the start of our honeymoon a wonderful experience!

It’s the hotel with the best location I’ve ever been to. The services are incredible and the personnel super attentive (with special mention to Giannis). Everything exceeded my expectations.

Amazing location, delicious food, brilliant service. Short (but steep) walk up to Artemonas or down to the walking trail that leads to Kastro. 10/10 would stay again.

Gorgeous view and most amazing pool! Friendly, attentive staff, food was amazing! Our ferry was very(!) late so we arrived at 3am but they were so nice despite having to wait for us, even provided us with a snack to eat in our room after a long journey/day! We didn’t have a car and felt like we didn’t need one personally, we walked into Kastro, and Appolonia (about 30 minutes walk each) which was lovely! They aren’t easy walks so some people may benefit from hiring a car! We can’t wait to be back!

We had an unbelievable stay at Verina Astra. The setting is spectacular, the food is 10/10 and the staff are incredibly kind, helpful and generous. Jason in the restaurant was particularly amazing with his super friendly nature and brilliant local knowledge. We will be back here soon!!!

Everything was an absolute dream. Fantastic views, amazing food (including a delicious breakfast!), the friendliest most attentive staff and an idyllic pool area. The boutique, small nature of the hotel means it quickly feels like home and you are so well looked after. 1000% recommend and can only hope we can come back soon.
