The one faces the Thracean sea (Thasos and Samothrace are visible when the weather is fine), while the other faces the mountains and the small villages (Kromniko, Dafnonas) at the other direction. There is also a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the river banks (Nestos). If you visit this place, please keep it clean :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can leave the rest of the world down there. The air is pure and easy to breathe. Silence and solitude with the occasional high pitched bellow from the goat herder. Stop at the natural spring on the way up to fill up your water bottle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view for above of the last twisted part of Nestos river before coming out of the mountains to the plane ahead. Great pass to the mountainous villages further inside the Rodopi mountain block.
