★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK, I'm not used to write reviews, especially on the first day of arrival but I find really unfair to give 2/5 (3 weeks ago) to such a PLACE! and not even the place is most important but You don't feel like a part of family when You come as a tourist but if You would like to... THATS the place! As I wrote its first day so to be fair to You I will be writing a review every day:) DAY ONE 5/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had a wonderful holiday at beautiful Villa Elena. Clean, new, modern and luxurious. The views, the tranquility, the sun lounges on the terace, the pool. We had our breakfast, lunch or dinner, outside. When we were not at the beach or exploring the country or coast, we were lounging in the sun or shade near the pool. Enjoying a nice refreshing breeze. And no mosquito seen during our stay! Upon arrival, the home made Moussaka was waiting for us. (We never had a beter moussaka!) The owner was so warm and helpful with tips about the area. He brought us fresh eggs and Greek delicacies during our stay, really soooo nice! Wonderful restaurants nearby, the beach at Falaserna is so beautiful with the crystal clear sea. We will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place with an astonishing view. Very robust building with a huge kitchen. There you have everything you need. Include wine refrigerators (filled with bottles on sale). Wifi is good, TV screens with Netflix in all three bedrooms. Wonderful pool with a big verenda. The road to the house a bit tiny but absolutely doable with a standard rental car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This villa is pure beauty. We booked it via AirBnB and the host and his wife are super friendly. We were greeted with homemade Greek food and the fridge was already filled for us. The location is pretty remote so you will have to search a bit to get here and to get to other places, but there isn‘t really any reason to leave anyways ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) had a wonderful time at Villa Elena. The hosts went above and beyond, generously providing us with homemade Cretan dishes and food upon arrival. We felt really taken care of! They provided information on activities in the area and were quick to reply to any questions we had throughout the week. The house is as nice as shown in the photos -very well cared for and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are large indoor and outdoor sitting areas, a great pool, and a stunning view from almost every room in the house. The 3 bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The grounds are well-kept with various fruit trees and beautiful olive orchards surrounding the house. Waking up to the spectacular view is something we won't soon forget! The house is private, relaxing and yet close to many sites. The location was perfect for visiting Elafonissi Beach, Balos Beach, Falasarna Beach & Ruins, and various canyon hikes. Kissamos is only a 15 minute drive away and there are several restaurants within a few minutes drive. A great home away from home! We would certainly return!
