Villa Elpiniki - Troulos Area

Really nice,the owner is a really nice guy, great stories. There's a pool and the place really feels safe, it's on a hill the beach is really close by and there is a gas station and some restaurants just below the hill.

A modest, but functional studio with everything you need. If you want to watch tv, play golf or need sauna beside all beautiful beaches on Skiathos this is not a place for you... For me, exactly what I need. To cook something, take a shower, drink a botlle of wine on a balcony in perfect peace and to take a rest for swimming and snorkeling. Thank you for a lovely stay and thanks for a wine opener (spike was broken but it was helpful) :-)

Savršena lokacija. Veoma lep i čist kompleks od nekoliko kuća, sav u borovini i cveću. Najjači utisak je savršeni mir i tišina. A opet, sve što vam treba je tu, blizu. Lepa peščana Trulos plaža, marketi, taverne, bus stanica, sve u neposrednoj blizini. Bili smo smešteni u studiju, koji ima sve neophodno, frižider i šporet u dobrom stanju, neophodno posuđe. Čišćenje je svakodnevno i menjaju veoma često posteljinu i peškire. Wi fi je dobar, koristi se uz malu nadoknadu. Najvažnije od svega - osećali smo se udobno i sigurno, bez bojazni smo ostavljali novac i stvari, jer gazda i osoblje su uvek tu i vode računa o svemu ali nenametljivi. Puno pozdrava za Kostu i osoblje. Perfect location. Very beautiful and clean villa, surrounded with many trees and flowers. Very quiet place, you can hear only birds and crikets, but also, everything you need is near - exelent Troulos beach, markets, tavernas, bus stop... We were in studio which have everything needed. All studios and apartments are cleaned daily, and kept very clean. Wi fi connection is good. And moast important thing is that we felt perfectly safe at villa Elpiniki. Place is in nice location. Room is standard. All in all very nice. Nice beaches all around. Owner is nice talking guy although has some triks how to get your money. So be prepare, in my case, when i arrived as a welcome gesture, he collected from me 8 eur for 2x6 pack water (real price is 1-1.8eur per pack ) and sad that its price as in market so he bought it for us. For me that is big NO NO and minus. It should be 4.

Very good and helpfull owner and service. Close to sea. Swimming pool is available. Every day rooms cleaned,washed dishes and changed towels. Perfect clean apartments. We recommend those apartments!

A nice & comfortable option with a very nice host, who lived in the U.S for a few years and will therefore understand most if not all English you throw at him, he was a bit talkative however, the cleaning crew comes cleaning once a day, seemingly every day of the week(I was only there 4 days). The WI-FI was however pretty bad, better than what my next destination had (see my review on "Villa Kamelia") but certainly not great, I believe I did have the room furthest away from the router and if you're in Greece you're probably not there to stay in your room and be on the internet all day, you're probably there to go swimming and sightseeing and such(where the owner can help you get an island tour for a little cheaper), but the WI-FI was nonetheless meh, low speeds, and the occasional disconnection made for a meh internet browsing experience.

Nice and clean but with terrible management. On partly cloudy days don't expect hot water to be available except in the afternoon. On days with no sun water heater is turned on. When there is at least some sun during the day water heating is only solar. This means that there is hot(warm) water only between 3PM and 10PM. After we complained about lack of hot water and noted to him that we need it to bathe our baby, manager noted that this is not 5 star hotel and suggested that we boil a pot of water!! After that he proceeded with badmouthing other guests how they spent all the water while pretending to be our friend. Probably said same thing to the other guests about us. Can you imagine this level of insolence!!! All this after scamming us with 3.5 euro for a pack of water, pretending to do it for our convenience. Just across the street price is 2.4 euros and in the Skiathos city it is 1.5 euros. All in all nice looking place but beware of crook manager.

Lovely, well kept apartments and studios, in well kept gardens that are cleaned and swept daily. They are located at the top of a quite steep drive that would not be suitable for those with walking difficulties. The owner Costas, comes across as friendly and well meaning, but unfortunately we have the impression (maybe wrong?) that this is part of a ploy to increase his monetry gains. Upon our first meeting, he presented us with enough water for a month, and charged much more than it would in the shop. It would be better if he asked if you required any before hand, as we guess that the leftover bottles would be re-sold to the next guests. The wifi was chargeable, he had a stash of remotes for the aircon to also charge. The beds were very uncomfortable until a mattress topper was added two days later, when we had placed folded blankets under our sheet for comfort. However, he did also offer trips and excursions in his own jeep, with him escorting, but we felt that it would be another way of increasing his financies. We avoided any unnecessary dialog, as we felt it best to do so. In whole, the accommodation was very nice, clean and comfortable, and is close to the beach, bus stops and the various tavernas around Troulos. Our first impressions left a bad taste for a couple of days, but soon forgotten and we had a lovely week in this lovely village.
