Wonderful place to stay. Run by Angela and her family, spotlessly clean with beautiful gardens and a wall full of awards from the holiday company. We have stayed here over 20 times now and still can't fault the place. There is never a problem getting a bed by the pool and it's quite, no loud music from the bar, but just a great place to relax, unwind and let the world go by. Pool is fine for dipping or short swim but it's not Olympic sized, there is also a kids pool. WiFi is fine around the pool but sporadic in the rooms. Don't expect UK broadband speeds! Rooms are basic as most self catering accommodation is on Greece, with a 2 ring cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster and small kitchen area. Looking, sink and shower in the bathroom. A couple of single beds, dressing table and a wardrobe make up the rest of the furniture. On the balcony or be is a table and a couple of chairs. Near by are 4 supermarkets and several tavernas all in a couple of minutes of walking on the flat. Bus stop 18 is 5 mins walk to get you into town or anywhere in between for 2 euro. 10 mins walk away is Victoria Complex and petrol station where you can hire a car or even better a jeep so you can make the most of the 60 plus beaches on Skiathos. All in all, can't praise Villa Maria highly enough. I go all around Greece and here is our bench mark for everywhere else.

Near the end of our 2 weeks here. Lovely clean and friendly apartments. Everything you need and if there is something needed that's not in the apartment then Angela the owner will sort right away if she can. Our grandson's 3rd birthday last week Angela organised a cake for us and collected it. Fantastic service. The pool is always clean too. Lovely chips from the pool bar ?

You will get a very warm welcome at this small family run hotel. Rooms are spotlessly clean, you have a nice balcony to relax on and a couple of cooking rings sufficient to cook an omelette or similar on. The grounds and pool are also immaculate and there is a very reasonably priced pool bar. Lots of very good tavernas close by and the beach is about 10 minutes walk away. Three supermarkets a couple of minutes away. Had an amazing stay and highly recommended.

Just got back from a 11 night stay great hotel friendly owner's made us very welcome Angela was lovely and Angela daughter was really friendly are room was cleaned every day great cleaner very friendly will definitely stay again Troulos is lovely
