We stayed second time in Villa Ermis. Holiday was magical, place is perfect: beautiful, peacefull, comfortable. George the owner is very warm and helpfull, the real soul and heart of Villa Ermis. Location is extremely nice: air is fresh up in mountain, but sun is still shining and warming. It is easy to do trips around Crete from villa and George has a lot of good ideas where to go and what to see. Stars at nighttime are also like a dream. We warmly recommend Villa Ermis for everyone who would like to stay in beautiful paradise at holidays.

Fantastic villa with every amenity you could think of. Very luxurious and comfortable for all the family. The pool and grounds are simply amazing. Because it was so fantastic it is difficult to pick out the best points as it was simply wonderful.The location is idyllic and peaceful but still close for all amenities. The owner was a perfect host who went way beyond expectation. He made our stay extra special and had two meals with us at the local taverna, he was a lot of fun and very interesting. He was always contactable and gave lots of useful advice on places to go. We would recommend a stay here to everyone. Many thanks Georgios for all of your thoughtfulness and kindness.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Ermis. We arrived late and there was a delicious home cooked dish in the fridge and a bottle of wine! We were all a tad frazzled after the journey but Georgios the host instantly made us feel welcome and calm. The Villa itself is stunning with fabulous views. There is so much to do in the local area or a bit further afield if you have the time. I will certainly reccomend to friends and family!

This was our second stay at Villa Ermis. This time we stayed for 10 days as 7 had not been enough. We had an amazing time! The villa was clean, airy and nicely decorated. We spent a lot of time in the pool, especially the kids. The roof terrace was a lovely space for an evening drink and to watch the sun set. The villa was so big you could easily find a quiet spot if you should wish. Georgios was a kind and friendly host. He had thought of everything to make our stay easy and memorable. His local knowledge was excellent so we pretty much threw away the guide book as he was always at hand to recommend idyllic beaches, local attractions and tavernas. We would highly recommend this gorgeous villa.

Villa Ermis We spent our first holiday after, or rather during, the pandemic at Villa Ermis. Two weeks of warmth, peace and contentment. The house with its very large and well-kept garden is very discreet and private and can be reached via a dirt road. The house itself lacks nothing. Fully equipped, clean, very good beds and the feeling of not just being in a cold, commercially designed holiday villa, but in a real house. To the hosts: We came as guests and left as friends - we are very grateful for that and look forward to our next trip to Crete to Villa Ermis. Not to forget - the excellent excursion tips and restaurant recommendations - sometimes simple, sometimes elegant, but always of more than high quality. Thank you!

Liked · Cretan Castello a substantial property located in a rural location, yet close to a large village (supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, garage etc) and main transit routes. The property is built on a grand scale, so the three bedrooms (two doubles and a smaller twin), are large and airy, with the much-needed benefit of air conditioning. The ground floor is given over to a huge open-plan kitchen / living / dining space, with a separate shower room on the same floor. There is an open staircase to the first floor. The property is perfect for social gatherings, as there are various spots in the generous grounds and around the pool where you can sit, dine, or recline, as well as a sun-baked terrace on the top floor, which provides phenomenal views over the mountains and as far as the coast. There is a comfortable dining gazebo and built-in BBQ, next to the kitchen garden. Cretan Castello is totally private and is not overlooked by any other properties. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, plus a separate fridge for drinks. There is a washing machine and iron, plus a hairdryer. Special mention must be made of the space-age, enclosed shower / jacuzzi n the bathroom - seeing is believing! The hosts could not have been more helpful and gave us excellent tips, advice and assistance, so that we got the maximum out of our time in the region and had a fantastic time.

Amazing amazing amazing. Villa Ermis is incredibly beautiful, and so thoughtfully decorated and equipped. It had everything we could have hoped for and more! It’s such a great place to relax, cook, etc and only a short drive from town and beautiful beaches. The owner Georgios is the most helpful person we’ve come across. Great tips every day, nothing was too much!
