Lovely place to visit, a few minutes to a lively but not rowdy little friendly village, can't wait to go again.

Lovely villa. Spacious and clean , great gardens and lovely pool. A short 5 minute walk to the main street with numerous tavernas and shops.

The villa is absolutely stunning! It is really fit for purpose for a relaxing holiday. There is a strip with shops, restaurants and bars only 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the villa really let itself down as it does not provide the basics needed. It provides a towel service but do not provide even hand wash for the three bathrooms! There are no cleaning products available, no bin bags, no washing up liquid, no dish sponges etc etc. It can really bump up your spending for the shopping having to buy all of these products..only then to have to leave them behind. What would have been really helpful is if the basics were provided or even a starter pack to tied you over until you get to the shops. Shopping in Kassiopi is very different to what you would find in most of Europe. There are no large supermarkets, there is only one shop in the town square that sells a variety of items, the rest you would find it hard to buy enough items for a meal. At the time of our stay, there were a lot of building works next to the villa, which meant lots of noise and large tankers driving past the villa from early morning throughout the day until late at night. Disturbingly the drivers were able to clearly see into the property.. a little disconcerting if you were sun bathing. Also note that the swimming pool, as beautiful and well maintained as it is.. is very shallow for majority of the pool. About half of the pool is 1.8m and then suddenly drops to much deeper. So if you plan on burning of any calories by swimming lengths..I'm afraid this makes it impossible. There are a lot of dogs in the surrounding properties to the villa, understandably it is out of the villa owners hands, it just taints the stay when you have dogs barking all day and night, guaranteed to wake you up a few times. Despite some of the points I have made, we all enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again, and would be a lot easier now knowing what we know.

Beautiful villa, well maintained and serviced, I believe, by the owners who were very welcoming and brought us some freshly laid eggs and a huge bag of delicious greengages during our stay. The villa is in a great position being a few minutes walk away from the shops, bars, restaurants and harbour. The reason for only 3 stars was the building works opposite, bringing huge trucks. The noise was terrible with cement mixures, diggers and workmen shouting from 07:45 and through the weekend. Also the dogs in the surrounding houses barking day and night didn't make for a peaceful relaxing holiday.
