Villa Iris - Villa Iris

Eine sehr schöne Villa in fußläufiger Strandnähe. Auch Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs gibt es in nur 100 m Entfernung, gleiches gilt für die im näheren Umfeld gelegenen Tavernen. Empfehlenswert ist die Taverne "Starlight", die einen guten Service bietet. Die Villa hat drei Schlafräume, davon 1 Master-Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Terrasse zum Meer. Die andern Schlafräume sind eher funktional als schön. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt reichlich Besteck, Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Auch gibt es eine Nespresso-Maschine, einen Wasserkocher und wer mag kann sogar Filterkaffee machen. Das Wohnzimmer bietet neben SAT-TV auch eine Musikanlage und reichlich Musik- oder Film-CDs. Die Betreuung der Villa IRIS ist sehr professionell und ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Villa kann ich unbedingt empfehlen.

Amazing house with everything you need for memorable holidays. We spent there 1 week in October with 4 adults and 2 children. The house is exactly what it looks like on the pictures. From the garden, loggia and even the bedroom upstairs with the balcony, you have an amazing view on the bay to Kerkyra and the sunrise over the Greek mainland. Since we were very lucky with the weather, we loved the garden, hanging around the private pool and the stony beach, which is around 5 minutes to walk down the stairs through lots of olive trees. Our lovely host was available by phone/whatsapp at any time for supporting everything concerning our stay (rental car, arrival, departure,...) and for giving us many great recommendations on tavernas and places to visit on the whole island of corfu. She even bought 2 puzzles for us before we arrived, since she was not expecting the weather to be as good as it finally was. There are some nice Tavernas in the village around, all of them offer great Greek cuisine. There are also nice beach bars at the waterside. There is a bakery and 2 small super markets in the village, the latter offer all necessary things but are very expensive. We always went to a larger super market at Ipsos, which is about 10 minutes to go by car and offers much more for lower prices. The house is about 30 minutes away from Corfu airport by car. All in all a great place to stay when visiting Corfu and a total recommendation! Thanks to Agathi for great holidays!
