I had high expectations of Villa Nestoras as many of the reviews raved about its quiet, scenic location and the hospitality of its owner, Dimitris. My week stay more than lived up to them. The view from our apartment each morning, looking over trees and sea would have been enough to seal the deal (see my photos) but an added bonus is Demitris's warm hospitality. As far as I could tell he deeply cared that each of his guests was enjoying their stay, always happy to have a rambling chat or bring you whatever you need from the bar. The pool facilities were perfect and in early July weren't ever overly busy. The north west of the island where villa nestoras is located is very pretty throughout with the more lively Barbati and Ipssos just short drives away. A car is probably recommended to make the most of the surrounding area. The room had everything you would expect in self catering apartment, covering all your basic needs. Room was perfectly clean and was given a spruce every couple of days over the week we were there. In terms of the location, you can get down to a lovely small beach within Nissaki in around ten minutes down a rocky path but it was a bit crowded when we went. We were pretty active and found the location perfect for driving to several beaches all around the island (the best were Porto Timoni which was incredible - get there early! - and Mirtiotissa) There were supermarkets and a really good places to eat in less than 5 mins drive of the vllla - our favourite was Vitamns Taverna in Nissaki which we went to a couple of times. All in all, I want to thanks Demitris for making us feel so welcome and taking care of us. I would highly recommend a stay at Villa Nestoras. I would go as far to say that we were treated like family

Can't recommend Villa Nestoras and Dimitris highly enough. Everything you read in the reviews here is correct. Amazing views, stunning pool area, and Dimitris is the consummate host - friendly, warm, but not overbearing...always ready with a tip and a recommendation. The walk to Nissaki beach takes around 15 minutes downhill if you make use of Dimitris' shortcut. The beach itself is an absolute gem. Its compact, but the water is crystal clear and beautifully still - perfect for swimming. We got to the beach around 9:30 each day and found there were plenty of sun loungers available. The beach filled up throughout the day but never felt too busy. Family friendly, but generally a relaxed, peaceful vibe. Of the various tavernas nearby, we tried Glyfa (fantastic, slightly higher end but still v reasonably priced for what you get), Dora (more basic but solid), and Vitamins (probably our least favourite as felt more tourist focused, but still decent with nice views). We also took a boat round to Agni Bay and ate at Nikolas Taverna (we were advised by locals that this is the cheaper of the few tavernas at Agni...however apparently the others are very good). We hired a boat for the day from Nissaki Boats down in the harbour. Novices welcome and we paid 75 euros for the day plus 15 for petrol. Great day out. Also worth noting there is a scooter hire place (Jimmy's) just near the supermarket on your way down to the beach. We paid 25 euros for the day and it cost around 8 euros to fill the tank. We rode round the northern coastline to Sidari. Great ride, though we were so impressed by the more windswept and over developed Sidari. All in all a fantastic week.

Great peaceful location, phenomenal view and fantastic owner. We had a very pleasant week, close to the beach, the supermarket and restaurants. Demetris really did everything to make us feel safe in this bizar Covid period. He treated us like family and recommended many beautiful unique places and restaurants. He deserves 10 stars !! Thanks again for this unforgettable experience, Demetris! Hopefully we will see each other again in the future!

Very nice and helpful owner Dimitris, I twisted my ankle on a first day and he helped out with expertly done dressing and provided me with a cooling gel and ice pack. The room we got {no. 8} had a nice view of pool and Ionian sea, from 2 small balconies. However the standard of rooms showed in their photos was nicer. There's a little bar where you can get coffee in the morning or an afternoon drink and enjoy it by the clean, large pool. Barbati beach is 8 minutes drive away or walk 40 mins, but it's rather dangerous to walk on the narrow road. There's plenty of local taverns to eat out, and good supermarket to get all the essentials one needs.

The owner Dimitris was amazing, he made us feel at home from the very first minute and was just a genuinely nice person. He also provided us with some amazing tipps that you wouldn‘t be able to find on google too easily. Also you have an amazing view over the ocean from the room and a nice pool with a little bar where you can get some coffee and snacks. We extended our stay because we liked it so much and we highly recommend to stay there.

We had an amazing time in Villa Nestoras. Dimitri, the host, is an absolutely amazing person! He is a real “Corfu man” who gave us a lot of tips and very interesting advices about our trip, thanks for that! The rooms are amazing with breathtaking view. Very clean! When you get there you should definitely try Dimitris frappe. That’s an obligatory point ;)
