Outstanding place. It offers everything you need and wish for: - fully equipped kitchen: big refrigerator, electric stove, electric oven, coffee filter, coffee espresso machine and a dishwasher. All equipments are good quality too. - two well equipped bathrooms - a large backyard with two barbecues: one powered on wood and the other one by gas - 6 sun-beds and umbrellas - a small place in the garden with artificial grass which is a fun place to play some ball - enough space to park 2-3 cars - the garden is well maintained with some beautiful flowers on the side - porch with a table where you can chill out and watch the sunset - outside shower where you can clean off the salt after a bath on the private beach. Also, the shower has hot water. - private beach behind the house !!! Absolutely incredible. Although it is rocky, is good enough to have some fun. You literally open the back gate of the yard and you are 10 meters from the sea. Swimming at night is just great. - 10-15 minutes by car to the city of Rethymnos where you can do a bunch of stuff during both day and night. (20 euro cab fare to the city centre) - pretty good positioning too: 1 hour by car to reach the south part of the island and about 1 hour by car to reach Heraklion On top of everything the hosts are wonderful people. They welcomed us with a bunch of gifts (locally made goods + a cooked meal when we arrived). They also helped us with recommendations for places to go and things to do. Would take me a long time to describe all the little things that this booking surprised me in a positive way. You just have to try it. Believe me, it's worth it. I would recommend this booking to anyone and I will come back here for sure.
