We stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2019 and had a simply wonderful time. We were looking for a nice villa in a quiet location that could accommodate 5 adults and the Villa Thalassini more than met our expectations! The villa itself is beautiful and very well appointed - providing very comfortable living space. The views you see from the villa are amazing and I spent many an hour sat in the shade of the olive tree reading and watching the world go by. The pool area is superb and is surrounded by lovely flowers that add to the beauty of the location. The villa was also a great base from which to travel to wonderful nearby towns such as Fiskardo & Assos and amazing beaches such Antisamos & Mrytos. However - after a day away it was always great to return to the tranquility and luxury of the Villa! Agia Effimia is a lovely town that is not too big but has everything you need - plenty of shops and lovely and reasonably priced restaurants. It has this small town relaxed feel about the place that we very much liked. We also hired a boat for the day which was also great fun. Kefalonia is a beautiful island and the people everywhere are so friendly. Amalia and her family were so kind and nothing was any trouble. We had a fantastic time in Kefalonia and this was mainly because we were lucky enough to have the Villa Thalassini as our home for those 2 weeks! We hope to return one day.

Our stay at the villa was incredible. The villa is even more beautiful, then you can see on the pictures. Having breakfast at the terrace in the sun with this stunning view makes you feel happy. Since we stayed at the Villa in April with temperatures at night not that high, we used the fire place in the livinig room every evening - having it warm and very relaxing as well. It is possible to walk down to the village, 15min down and 20min up due to the steep road. Thus, you dont need to take the car every day. Amalia, the manager of the villa, is a very symphatic and reliable person and helps you with all the daily needs and questions. So i can recommend the villa in any aspects, enjoy.
