Veľmi príjemné, tiché, čiste a dobre vybavené ubytovanie. Priateľský a nápomocný majiteľ. V okolí je niekoľko pekných pláži (dostupných autom). Vhodne aj pre rodiny s deťmi. Určite sa ešte vrátime, na Kréte je ešte stále vždy čo objavovať.

excellent view, services and hospitality....

It was the greek place we were looking for. A beautiful place with a beautiful view, a perfect little beach nearby all of it away from central all inclusive turism. Best of all, very kind and helpful people in the Makry Gialos area. A special thanks to Kostas and Manuela who made us feel welcomed and home in they nice bungalow with an authentic feeling.

We stayed at Ville du Soleil for the first two weeks of August in one of the detached villas. We had a few concerns about traveling during the pandemic but all of our questions were quickly answered by Kostas and Manuela by email. They were on hand to meet us at check-in and always available throughout our stay. They are excellent hosts who care about their guests and can answer any questions you may have. The villa was covid secure and all protocols had been followed and for a few weeks it was great to be able to forget about the outside world. The villas are large and the downstairs area much bigger than we were expecting and the addition of a downstairs WC and shower was a nice surprise. The second twin room is also a great size as is the master and wonderful terrace which overlooks a stunning view. There are lots of extra little touches such as the hose pipes outside, the outside dining area downstairs, the washing machine, the large storage cupboard, the coffee machine, the amazing air con in all rooms, the fully equipped kitchen and a hammock for the terrace which helps to make the villa feel like a home from home. The villa is light and made from the most glorious stone and decorated in a modern yet traditional way. It has everything you need and plenty of storage space and well-appointed rooms. I have not slept this well for a long time and it has been wonderful to sleep in a cool room and open your bedroom window to see the sea and mountains. To watch the sun disappear each night behind the mountains was one of the highlights of staying at Ville du Soleil along with stargazing after dark. We even saw a meteorite burn across the sky and into the sea! The whole area surrounding the villa is rural and beautiful, you are spoilt for choice for a variety of pretty beaches and the food in town is great and easy to visit somewhere new and good every night. If you want to cook in then the fabulous kitchen will supply everything you need and then you'll be able to enjoy your food overlooking that before mentioned stunning view. I would fully recommend Ville du Soleil to anyone wishing to travel to a beautiful unspoiled part of Crete who want time to relax and enjoy the perfect hospitality offer by Kostas and Manuela
