Vista Ariadne - Stelida Hill West

Perfect place to relax and enjoy a splendid view all day long both outside and from inside the studio. Great mornings, sunsets and starry nights, away from the crowd in a peaceful perfectly fitted studio.

We highly recommend this place . Randy and Maki are the greatest hosts as possible . They have been extremely helpful and unbelievably kind ( a nice present every day) . Last but not least, the house has the best location on the island. The view is such that it makes it very difficult to leave . Sunset on the terrace is an unforgettable moment !

They say there's no place like home, but what they really mean is there's no place like Vista Ariadne. It's a little slice of paradise on the lovely island of Naxos. Every year, I look forward to coming back to watch the sun set on the panoramic views of the sea and Paros, get lost in the nooks of the property's vibrant gardens, and take a quick walk down to the pristine beaches nearby. 10/10 would recommend!

I have visited Naxos several times before, and Vista Ariadne is by far the best accommodations I have enjoyed on the island. My wife and I stayed at Vista Ariadne as part of our honeymoon and we could not have imagined a more romantic or ideal location. The hosts were amazing and responded to our every need and provided fantastic tips and shared all that they know about the island as locals. They also provided thoughtful touches-- like delicious fresh fruit from their gardens and ingredients to make frappes. The home was modern, clean, and comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed and more. The home is nestled at the highest point of beautiful grounds full of fruit and vegetables and quaint little nooks to sit and take it all in. Between enjoying the beautiful home, strolling through the gardens and olive groves, and enjoying the stunning view (which rival that of Santorini, but without the crowds!) We felt like we had our own little slice of Greek heaven. We also really loved the Stelida neighborhood. It is quiet and peaceful but just a few minute drive or pleasant walk to our favorite beach Agios Prokopios and under 15 minute to drive/bus ride into Chora (the main town). My wife and I have vowed to make Vista Ariadne a regular destination as we loved it so much.

This place has an amazing view and is very quiet! I recommend renting a car, so you can tour around the island. There are some very quaint villages you can visit and you will also be able to drive into town. Randy’s husband brought us fresh vegetables and cheese that were delicious! We did not have good weather, but we still had a great time!

Don't think, just book. Vista Ariadne is a total paradise: for couples, it'll be one of the most relaxing, quiet, private and scenic places you'll ever be lucky enough to call "home." We stayed here for a week, and every morning couldn't believe our luck: waking up to the sun illuminating the channel and the island of Paros across the water, viewable from our bed. Every night, watching the fabulous sunset over the same scenery (a better and more private sunset experience than you'll ever get in Santorini). Every day, either lounging on the giant shaded patio, or walking 10 minutes to the Agios Prokopios beach or town for dinner. Believe the photos; this place is spectacular. Naxos is unlike other islands. It's wonderfully relaxing; the people we met are friendly but unpretentious; the scenery is far more varied than we could have expected (it's really easy to rent a car - either from the port or from Agios Prokopios town - and tour around the mountain villages). Massive valleys, forests, rocky mountains, and more are all within a very short drive if you want it. Vista Ariadne is in a wonderful location: private and secluded, but within easy distance to whatever you're fancying.

We loved our stay at Randy’s villa and didn’t want to leave. Naxos is an amazing island with so much to do, but we spent several days just hanging around the house and visiting near-by beaches because these were our favorite. We especially enjoyed the hidden coves just below, which are actually even prettier than any other beach we saw. The view for the house is out of this world, all the pictures are real and don’t do it justice. Make sure to stay at the house one day to see the sunset - it was even better than at Santorini :) Randy and Maki were extremely welcoming, helping us not only with local information, but also to sort out any challenges (we had a small mix up with picking up our rental car, and Randy got it resolved right away). You definitely need a car to get to places, but it is a good idea on Naxos anyway so you can visit different villages and beaches without depending on buses or tours. We rented a car from Motorpower (recommened by Randy) and we very happy with their service . Just make sure to tell them exactly when and where you need to pick up and drop the car - they will come to you. We eat at several restaurants in town, never had a less than perfect meal. Maki and Randy will tell you all about these places where local eat. We are already planning our next stay at Randy’s place.

Vista Ariadne has breathtaking views and an unbeatable location. My husband and I had an amazing time and we can't wait to go back. If you want a truly authentic Naxian vacation, you will love it there. Randy and Maki were so amazing and friendly and we truly appreciated their hospitality and the beautiful and personal touches.
