Great experience with Nikos and Vivian very sweet and accommodating. There is the only place you will need to stay if you are staying on Kefalonia island. They are my second cousins but I know for a fact that they would treat any people as they are family!! Great stay and I would highly recommend!!!

The ONLY place in the Ionian Islands I will stay! If you want that authentic Greek holiday, look no further. I have been staying at Vivian Villa on my vacations to Kefalonia for 3 years now! Vivian and Nikos have become like my Aunt and Uncle. They are the kindest people on the island and treat all their guest with respect and kindness. You will not be able to find another place to stay on the island that can stand on equal footing to the hospitality, quality and authenticity that Vivian Villa embodies. So forget all other options and say a prayer to the Greek gods that you will get to stay at the Villa on your holiday! Rooms are super clean, have refrigerators and plates/cups/cutlery, great bathrooms (which you can flush your toilet paper into), and last but not least personal air conditioning units! Location is 5 minutes to the main shops, restaurants and nightlife. And a great local beach is about 10 minutes away (Maistratos) depending on how excited your are to jump in that clear blue Ionian water! If you go about 10 minutes further you will get to another great local beach (Fanari) that is perfect for families/children as you can walk in the water up to your knees for a good while. For those traveling in summer 2015 do not be afraid of the economic situation. I was very hesitant to come this summer, however Nikos & Vivian assured me by email prior to my arrival of ATM withrawals - basically any non-greek credit/debit card can withdrawal up to 600 euros per day (per card!). So if you need more than 600 euros a day bring another or many cards. P.S. make sure to ask for pick up from the airport! And book on their website / email them / or call!

Very correct. Nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable. Vivian received us warmly and explained a bit about the facilities. I would repeat.

Extremely unprofessional behaviour, and very bad hospitality, and mistakes from their part left us on the streets without where to stay 23:00 at night in the middle of the high season! I advise anyone not to book there cause the host is totally unorganized. To tell the full story, we booked a room through Airbnb. Before we arrived we called to confirm that they were waiting for us, and a woman said yes they are waiting (probably she acknowledged just so she wouldn't reveal that she didn't really know) and they will be very happy to receive us. But when we arrived there after a few hours, and tried to check-in, the host told us that they don't accept reservations through Airbnb anymore and that they disabled it days ago! He refused to give us the room, even though the apartment was booked and paid, and it was 22:00 at night! He preferred to ruin our vacation rather than sorting the issue that he had with Airbnb. The room was available in Booking, and he never mentioned that the room that wasn't empty, just that he is not working with Airbnb any more.. When we aked him what we could do to solve this so we wouldn't stay without reservation in the middle of the night, he replied that nothing can be done, he literally kicked us out. He was aggravated and rude, for the whole conversation after we mentioned that we booked through Airbnb, like it was our fault for booking with him.. A good host shows his true face when things don't go as planned and they failed miserably to resolve this in a professional way. Even though we had no part with their dispute with Airbnb.. I discourage anyone booking with them, i certainly wouldn't book again ever, no cheap price is worth ruining you vacation and looking where you will stay the whole night..

We stayed spontaneously for one night and are very happy we chose Vivian Villa. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They made sure we felt comfortable and helped us get organized well! We recommend staying there! Sophia Dinucci & Mona Remsperger

Great service, great prices, and great hosts. Niko and Vivian are wonderful people and hotel owners. Niko was born and raised on the island and the hotel was built on his ancestral land. They go out of their way to help you with any trip problems, make suggestions for activities, things to see, and restaurants, to name a few. You could not ask for more kind, considerate and caring service to make you comfortable, to guide you and to make your stay a wonderful experience you will always treasure. My ancestors are from Kefalonia, I have been going there since the 1960's, and the Vivian is always first choice for accomodations for myself and my family.
