Best rentals in town. Personal, flexible service and great car variety. Reasonable pricewise.

I rented a Suzuki Alto. Didn't expect too much of it. The engine is too small, A/C + a little uphill = the car nearly stops. The glove box fell out on the floor immediately after I first touched it. Having to return a car with an empty tank is annoying. Overall the car was OK, and we had a nice vacation, that's why I give them 3 out of 5. They blocked EUR 500 on my card as a deposit. Upon return, they did not tell me that it can take a long while to have this money unblocked. After 3 or 4 days I emailed them and did not get a response. Called by phone, it turned out the guy who I emailed was on vacation and did not set up an autoresponse (sic!). They basically told me to wait. Then after a few more days I sent another email, and they obviously did not want to help: responded late, attached a receipt which verifies that they sent a request to unblock funds, to their payments processor, CardLink. Did not respond to my next email, which is super-unprofessional. EUR 500 is almost twice the amount I paid for rent, and it is very clear that anyone would be worried if they don't get it back.. If their service desk simply told me upfront that I have to wait for like 2 or 3 weeks - I would just accept that, but they didn't. Verdict. +++ a cheaper-then-average car rental, kudos for pickup/drop-off at the airport, friendly staff during pickup/drop-off --- broken glove-box, no USB port, poor customer service, lack of information on deposit return, unprofessional attitude to client requests
