S	Simon uytterhoeven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool trip to Vradeto. A 1100 steps. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the central square of Vradeto (for a trained hiker). Nice views along the way. From there on you can go to Beloi viewpoint in about 30 minutes. In Beloi you have a wonderful view on the Vikos Gorge.
Y	Y.H. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skala Vradeto, or Vradeto steps, is an amazingly beautiful site. These spectacular series of stairs, was made by fantastic handicraft, and it is a part of a path that connects the two villages - Kapesoto and Vradeto. The panoramic view of the entire area, including the southern part of Vikos Gorge that is seen from there is simply stunning!! The stairs are dated to the beginning of the 18th century and it took 20 years to build them. They cover an altitude difference of 250m and there are around 1100 steps. The path was designed to contain three lanes, one lane (with black stones) for animals and two lanes with white stones, for people. The width was calculated precisely so that the animals would be able to turn along with their massive load. At the bottom of the gorge, at the foot of the steps, you will find two ancient stone bridges, the first and the second Skala Vradeto bridges, that are distant 80m one from the other. The trail and especially the so impressive Skala Vradeto steps, are considered as a national historic monument and reveal the heroism and the vision of the local residents who lived here over two hundred years ago!
M	Marc Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice easy walk, no one else on the steps. Easy parking at the start and a nice little village to stop for lunch between the steps and the Beloi viewpoint.
L	Lennart De Laere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a lot of people know about this trail to Vradeto. Most tourists just go by car to Vradeto to walk from there to Beloi viewpoint. But this trail is a must do! Nearly a thousand ancient steps with great views in the middle of the nature. You can park your car at the start of this trail. From here to Beloi viewpoint and back is just 10km. For Belgians: this is where one of the tasks of De Mol 2020 took place.

Be aware there is a possibility of Cows (not wild) on the steps itself. They do not seem to mind passerby's but still be cautious. After arriving in Vradeto. Best to combine with the beloi viewpoint hike for the best view of the Vikos Gorge.
