★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As other reviewers also said, this theater is a joke. You cannot see anything from upper seats and even with online bought tickeys you have to wait half an hour in the cold. Worst experience ever! Not suitable for kids

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm theatre, excellent service, unique plays, unforgettable experience and very very beautiful spectators..tonight I was sitting in the first row next to a young model with breathtakingly beautiful legs, yeah I am lucky :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice theater, conviniently situated just outside Syntagma metro station. Small but with good view of the stage no matter the seating row / place. Rather old, some restoration seems necessary. The play was good - a comedy - however I was expecting more...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a fire hazard. How it got a licence from the Fire Dept is beyond me.
Dangerously cramped seating consists of rows of uncomfortable rickety foldable chairs strapped together.
Bonus is the applause and other reactions from the audience watching the show in the theatre on top of this dump.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historic theatre that suggests the glory of its past years. Comfortable seating , good views of the stage wherever you sit, one not well equipped bar and toilet needs fixing. Definitely these two places need upgrading for a theatre that gets crowded with people at each performance. Rather stuffy inside. Ushers do not need to be " demanding" to be tipped as it makes people feel quite embarrassed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vretania theatre is one of the oldest theatres of Athens. I love its majestic decor. I had the chance to watch "Askitis" from Nikos Kazantzakis, with great actors and ofcourse Stefani Kapetanides
